We arrived at the hotel, and it's beautiful!  The sweet ladies at the front desk said the Eiffel Tower suite is all booked up, but Rich was able to surprise me with one night in there!  OMG!!!!  It's totally worth it!  The views are incredible and we are planning to take LOTS of pictures with the girls!  It has 3 rooms, including a stunning marble bathroom with a big soaker tub, a living room and a large sleeping area.  The views outside are out of this world!  Today we plan to walk around the city and find some good coffee and pastries.  With no set agenda this should be exciting!  We are grabbing our cameras so we can start getting some cont ent. We start heading towards Saint Augustine church on this beautiful morning, and there was a great little cafe right there where we find a nice breakfast of pastries, juice, coffee and yogurt.  Across the street is a really fun-looking cafe that I would love to go take pictures at while we are h...

Easter Sunday - heading to Paris!

Today is Easter Sunday, and we are heading to Paris for a full week!!  We thought we were leaving tomorrow, so it's a good thing I decided to peek at our flight info!  LOL!  We were planning on hosting Easter at our house until we realized we are flying out this afternoon.  It's like we got a bonus day!  So often when we go to Paris it's so rushed, so I am super pumped to have 7 full days to explore.  We are bringing our 2 youngest daughters on this trip because it will be a great opportunity to work on learning photography skills and also writing. Since we are Hyatt members, we are planning to stay at The Hyatt Paris Madeleine in the 8th Arrondissement.  I have seen in pictures that they have rooms with a view of the Eiffel Tower and I'm really hoping to get a peek of that! Everything is going really well at the airport and the flight goes rather quickly!  The flight was not full so it's actually quite comfortable. Every time we go to Paris it ne...

Finally traveling to Europe with the family

It all started 3 years ago, just a couple of weeks before our oldest daughter's wedding.  I said we need to finally take a trip to Europe!  Rich and I had been engaged in front of the Eiffel Tower back in 2000 and then married a few months later.  Life got busy with 4 amazing daughters, lots of moves, starting new businesses, and sickness and health.  I'm excited to start documenting our amazing trips we have been taking.  In the past month and a half, we have already spent 18 days in Europe!   Let's start with our trip to Paris, where we took our 2 youngest daughters.
